Hey there! I'm Lori, and I want to tell you about our farm!

Our Journey to Establishing a Family Compound

We are on a journey to create a family compound with a vision of sustainability and self-sufficiency. Last fall, we found a piece of land that resonated with our dreams. This land, surrounded by the beauty of nature, became the foundation for our future.

Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Picture this: I live in the only house on our property with my husband, Tim, and our four children. It's like living in a little village! Just a stone's throw away, my sister and her husband have set up camp in a rodeo rig camper right next to our house. But they're often off chasing adventure on the rodeo trail, leaving us to keep the home fires burning during the summer months. This fall, they hope to start building their home.

Tim's brother, Adam, is living the tiny house dream. He built his cozy little house last year and is currently plotting the construction of his future home on his own piece of land. Meanwhile, my other sister, Manda, has also embraced the camper life, parked just down the drive from us.

With all these characters around, our property feels like a center of activity, laughter, and family fun. Who needs a neighborhood when you have your own little community right at home?

Now that we’ve got ourselves a plot of land, we’re just going to keep doing what we’ve always done. We’re growing all sorts of fruity and veggie goodness. And let’s not forget our feathered friends and fluffy buddies; we’ve got chickens, sheep, and cows ready to provide us with all the meaty goodness we can handle. Oh, and those wild blackberries, elderberries, and sand plums? They’re basically nature’s candy. With more space to stretch our dreams, we can’t wait to take you along for the ride on this farming adventure!

Helping Others Live Off the Land

Our goal is not only to thrive ourselves but also to share our resources with others. Through these efforts, we hope to inspire others to embrace a lifestyle that is both fulfilling and sustainable.

We're so excited to list our first product, our delicious pasture raised chicken. Check it out, available for pre order now.
